Episode 03 – Alexander Jordan, Apathy Works
On the third episode of the Indie Dev Podcast, I interview Alexander Jordan of Apathy Works. Follow along as he illustrates how he got his start with the first person shooter modding scene in the mid 90s, released his first game Around The World on XBLIG, and followed it up with Cute Things Dying Violently — a premier title in 2011’s Indie Games Summer Rising.
Alex also enlightens us on his experience with writing networking code in Unity, the benefits of prototyping to explore what does / does not work for your games, and his current Unity project, At the Lytchgate.

Hey Dave – It’s cool to see you’ve started another podcast, I look forward to listening. Am I missing the RSS feed link so us non-iOS users can subscribe (Windows Phone, we are the 4%)? Long live XBLIG!
You should be able to subscribe via any RSS reader or podcasting app by using this link:
http://indiedevpodcast.podomatic.com/rss2.xml
That’s the same feed which I gave to iTunes, so it should work for you as well. Just point your app towards that RSS feed, and you’re good to go! Let me know if you have any questions or need a hand getting it setup.
